The cycling route runs from Salmenkylä in Nurmes via the villages of Karhunpää and Puukari in Valtimo to Nurmes, continuing to Männikkölän Pirt in Pielinen and from there back to Salmenkylä to Majatalo Pihlajapuju. The relaxed atmosphere of the inns and the cosy rural landscapes of Upper Karelia pamper you along the way. The cycling distance is 100 – 200 km, depending on the route and day trips.
