By train
You can get to Nurmeck by a commuter train from Joensuu, which has good connections to Helsinki. The journey by urban train takes about two hours, with trains arriving and departing twice a day. By bus
Do you prefer public transport as your mode of transport? Then you should hop on a bus! There are several daily bus services from Joensuu and Kajaani to Nurmecka. By car
There are many roads leading to Bomba, with scenery that is also favourable for all car passengers. From Joensuu, Kuopio and Kajaani it takes about 1.5 hours by car. If you arrive from Helsinki, the journey takes about 6 hours. For caravanners, the campsite is located at Hyvärilä Youth and Tourism Centre.

By boat
Bomba is also easily accessible by water in the breathtaking scenery of the Pielinen! You will find the boat refuelling point at Break Sokos Hotel Bomba, and the guest marinas either at Break Sokos Hotel Bomba or in the centre of Nurmes. The marinas also have a water and electricity point, while the marina in the centre of Nurmes also has a septic tank emptying point for boaters.
By air
You can choose your flight route to Bomba if you wish. The nearest airports are Kuopio, Joensuu and Kajaani, with direct flights to Helsinki-Vantaa airport. It takes about an hour to fly from Helsinki to these cities. The most convenient way to get to Bomba from the airports is to arrange a ride with an accommodation company or rent a car at the airport.
