The Pielinen gives the course its own stamp – on a hot summer’s day the course is pleasantly fresh, in windy weather it is demanding. The course, designed by Kosti Kurose, is quite demanding despite its easy appearance and the presence of the lake causes occasional bumps on several fairways. The hilly terrain offers challenges for both the amateur and the competitive player.
