Jurttivaara

Located in stunning landscapes in Höljäkkä in Nurmes, the former ski resort Jurttivaara offers you the opportunity to enjoy the pure nature of North Karelia alone or together with a larger group. To find Jurttivaara, you need to head down the Haarakiventie road, and then turn onto an unnamed road leading on the top of the hill. You can also reach the ski resort on a mountain bike. There is a one-kilometer ascent to the top.
