Own-action museum

In the Own-action museum you can explore the history of Valtimo through the occupations. The museum has its own exhibition sections for painters and seamstresses, for example, whose everyday life was very different from today. Find out what everyday life was like for cavemen and more modern people! It is also worth taking a peek at the history of the Sarasoja House in a room dating back to 1918.

The museum is accessible and there is an accessible toilet. Guide dogs are welcome. Open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free admission!
