Raesärkät

Hidden in the hilly ridges, you’ll find the Raesärkät, a beautiful day trip destination for you and your family. The area is well suited to families with children, as there are several rest stops along the route within a short distance of each other. The area is named after a narrow ridge section running north-east to south-east. Although the ridges are the absolute master of the area, you will also find bogs, clear-water lakes, river bends and old-growth forest. If you’re lucky, you might also meet some of the forest’s cute inhabitants. The Raesärkke landscape has captivated people for decades, and the area is a popular destination for a short break – why not come and experience the unique landscape of the Raesärkke yourself! The Raesärkke trails are also ideal for mountain biking.
