What is bomba?
Untouched nature, unhurried encounters, a real escape from everyday life. In the Bomba tourist area, Karelian culture is alive and well. People are united by hospitality, and in the middle of three national parks, on the ruggedly beautiful Pielinen, nature is everywhere. For the event organiser, Bomba offers meeting places ranging from an arena for a thousand people to unique banqueting facilities and intimate meeting rooms. Visitor attractions will surprise even the most experienced world traveller, and ancillary services cover the most demanding wishes. What is not readily available can be flexibly arranged. The site has around 1200 beds. Most of the accommodation capacity can be found in the surroundings of Break Sokos Hotel Bomba and Hyvärilä, with a total of about 800 beds within 1.5 km of each other.

Youth and Holiday Centre Hyvärilä
In the immediate vicinity of Hyvärilä is a 9-hole golf course and the PielisAreena. In the past, Hyvärilä has hosted weddings, seminars and training courses.

PielisAreena
Located in the same yard as Hyvärilä, PielisAreena is a meeting place for sports, education, culture, events and business. The space can be divided into three parts as required. In the past, PielisAreena has hosted fairs, concerts, galas and sports competitions.

Break Sokos Hotel Bomba
Break Sokos Hotel Bomba is located 1.5 km from Hyvärilä. The area consists of a spa hotel, a Karelian village and a 500-seat covered summer theatre. The log buildings provide a fine setting for a successful meeting. In the past, concerts, meetings and festivities have been held in the premises. Nurmes house
The Culture and Library House with its versatile facilities is centrally located next to the Old Market Hall in Nurmes. The Nurmes House, which will open after renovation in 2021, will be an inspiring environment for all kinds of encounters. In the past, the premises have hosted cultural events, film screenings, lectures, seminars and celebrations.

Valtimotalo
The Valtimotalo can also accommodate larger events. It has hosted concerts, fairs and telegraph tournaments, among other events.

The Municipal House “Kuntalaistentalo“
Kuntalaistentalo was completed in 1988 and designed by architect Olavi Noronen. Among other things, the building has about 50 corners. for 150 people Ballroom, stage and grand piano.
