Bomba accessibility

- Break Sokos Hotel Bomba has disabled parking spaces in front of the hotel and barrier-free access to the floors and rooms. Accessible toilets are located in the public areas on the ground floor. The Forest Wing has three rooms suitable for people with reduced mobility, with good space and equipped with shower and toilet.
- All the pools at Spa Bomba are equipped with handrails, and the large pool also has a personal lift. From the Sauna World saunas to the steam room, you can use a shower wheelchair. You can ask for a shower chair and other equipment at the reception desk or from the pool attendant on arrival.
- The first floor of the Bomba house has barrier-free access and a barrier-free toilet, but there is no barrier-free access to the second floor.
- The Bomba Summer Theatre is accessible.
- Nurmes Evangelical Lutheran Church is accessible and operates as a roadside church. You can park your car in the immediate vicinity of the church and the church is accessible to all.
- There is no barrier-free access to the Ikola Museum, but guide and assistance dogs are welcome and there is free admission for assistants. Many exhibits can be touched and assistive devices can be borrowed during your visit.
- Omatoimimuseo is accessible and there is an accessible toilet. Guide dogs are welcome and assistants are admitted free of charge.
- The café building in Yläpihan tila is accessible and parking is available right next to it. Guide dogs are welcome on the farm.
- In Hyvärilä, you can stay in accessible accommodation in the Kartanonhotel, Rantatuvalla and holiday apartments. You can also organise various programmes in the Naveta and Pielis-Arena. You can walk to the pier leading to the Pielis to admire the lake scenery.
- Nurmes House is fully accessible. You can visit the exhibitions of the Köts Museum and the Tyko Art Gallery or go to the cinema.
- Get to know Raesärkät
- Hidden in the hilly ridges, you’ll find the Raesärkät, a beautiful day trip destination for you and your family. The area is well suited to families with children, as there are several rest stops along the route within a short distance of each other. There are also fireplaces and toilets in the area. The Raesärkki trail is the base of an old cart track, which is easy for even the youngest members of the family to paw along on their own on its flat surface! It is also easy to walk the trail with a pushchair or pram. The clear lakes and the rich variety of species in the area will guarantee you an interesting and varied day in nature.
